   Pastor Brent began teaching Sunday School in his late teenage years and led his church youth group in his early twenties. In 1996 at the age of 27, he answered the call to ministry and then began attending Ohio Christian University majoring in Christian Ministry. Since then, he has also served as Director of Music and Associate Pastor at Southside Baptist Church while continuing to work full time as the system designer at Insight Communications.
    During the 25 years of his professional career, his computer proficiency and other technical knowledge has enabled him to use many modern technological advances to serve God through our church and community. He gets to know each one of our members personally, his sermons are energetic, his passion for the Lord is contagious, and his Bible knowledge, personality and approachability earns much respect from the congregation and everyone he meets, making him a terrific leader and pastor. 
   Pastor Brent now serves the Lord through our church in a full time capacity and together with his wife, Chris, their three sons, and their daughter they give an example of how God blesses families that are faithful to Him.

   Lisa is one of the most talented musicians in the ministry today. Her knowledge of traditional hymns and contemporary favorites brightens every service with a comfortable blend of music that facilitates an atmosphere of worship for Jesus Christ.

   The children always look forward to spending time with Nancy. Bible lessons, crafts, and activities give them an opportunity to learn about God, His love for them, and neighborly love for each other that they can get from no other place.

   Melissa truly has a heart for God and she loves the little ones. Nancy and Melissa have similar teaching styles and make a wonderful team in sharing God’s message with the children.

   Jeff relates well to the youth and sets a good example for them to follow. He enjoys teaching them through Bible lessons, dramas and other activities.

  Biblical knowledge, experience, and faith are always good characteristics to have in leadership, but when you add that she is personable, George makes a very good leader for the young adults.
