The Garage is an oversized two and a half car garage... in 24th scale. It is made from balsa and basswood and is constructed by 2x4 framing with trusses, just like a full size garage would be built. It has 6” siding on the outside, sandpaper for the roof shingles, and four LED lights to light the inside. The engine hoist and work bench were scratch built by me out of styrene plastic. The LS2 engine and other model parts were also made by me. The toolboxes, creeper, and other garage tools were purchased at a local hobby shop and then “dirtied” up to add to the realism. The interior photos of this display have fooled many people into thinking that it was a real garage.
